Savannah was born and raised in small town Bluefield VA/WV. She moved to Charlotte NC shortly after graduating from Wytheville Community College’s Dental Hygiene Program, with a degree in Dental Hygiene. She took her clinical state board at UNC Chapel Hill’s School of Dentistry and upon passing, she became a Licensed Dental Hygienist.
When the Covid-19 pandemic hit, I’m sure many remember that most dental offices began closing their doors until further notice. During this time, with her future as a hygienist in question, Savannah took the time to research other opportunities. She found the world of esthetics and fell in love, then shortly applied to Esthetician School.
Savannah attended the Aveda Institute here in Charlotte and would soon graduate upon completing her 600 hours of schooling. With her background in healthcare, she knew that she wanted to specialize in medical esthetics, working alongside a Plastic Surgeon and/or Dermatologist. Upon graduating and passing her state board exams, she became a Licensed Esthetician.
Soon after, she got a job working for a Facial Plastic Surgeon in the south Charlotte area. While their office manager was away on maternity leave, she stepped in on her behalf. During that time, she was primarily scheduling patients, handling inventory, and soaking up as much experience as she possibly could. She also had the awesome opportunity to shadow/ assist in a few procedures.
During her time there, she was introduced to the art of Electrolysis. Savannah attended Southeastern School of Laser and Electrolysis in Lexington KY. She lived there for a month while finishing her studies and would soon move back to Charlotte upon completion. After passing both of her state board exams, she became a Licensed Electrolysis Practitioner and then soon after, became a Licensed Laser Hair Practitioner as well.
Her desire is to provide her clients with the best care possible. With more than 5 years of experience in health care, the most meaningful thing to her is developing long lasting relationships with people that walk through her door. Comfort, trust, and confidentiality are the utmost priority.
In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, friends, and her husband. Savannah loves animals and enjoys trying new restaurants around Charlotte and surrounding areas. Her hobbies outside of work include traveling, listening to true crime podcasts, and visiting local dog parks with their puppy, Benny.
